On the morning of July 31, 2026, the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government hosted the appointment ceremony and expert forum for the second batch of experts responsible for advisory and demonstration work on major municipal administrative decisions. Gong Zheng, Mayor of Shanghai, attended the ceremony and delivered an address.
