On the afternoon of April 24, 2026, a special seminar on labor and employment compliance for the semiconductor industry was held at our Shanghai headquarter. Co-hosted by Truth Semi Group, undertaken by our firm, and co-organized by the Semiconductor Branch of Shanghai Headquarters Enterprise Development Promotion Association, this event aimed to help semiconductor industry enterprises to realize full-process employment compliance management. HR specialists, corporate legal counsel from group member enterprises, and professional lawyers from our firm gathered at the event to discuss and explore suitable solutions.


Annie Li, Partner of our firm and overall lead of the event preparation, delivered an agenda introduction of this seminar. She noted that the semiconductor industry features highly specialized workforce management and high sensitivity to compliance risks. Tailored to the core demands of industry enterprises, this seminar was designed to consolidate the foundation of standardized employment compliance management for businesses.

Drawing on typical labor arbitration cases, he systematically analyzed common hidden dangers & high-frequency risks throughout the entire labor contract life cycle, put forward targeted optimization strategies & practical guidelines for risk prevention.

Chen Yanwen, Senior Partner of our firm with extensive judicial trial experience, focused on core operational challenges and shared insights in the session Termination of Labor Relations and Layoff Response. She sorted out the applicable conditions, statutory procedures and operational essentials for negotiated termination, unilateral termination and economic layoffs, provided actionable solutions to avoid illegal dismissal risks commonly encountered in corporate practice.

Shen Li, Senior Partner of our firm, gave a professional interpretation on Key Practical Points of Non-Compete Obligations. Considering the talent mobility characteristics of the technology and innovation sector, he elaborated on key issues including the scope of parties subject to non-compete agreements, term stipulations, compensation payment and breach liability. The sharing clarified the rights and obligations of enterprises and employees concerning non-compete clauses, offering solid legal support for technology enterprises to protect trade secrets and regulate core talent management.

Following the keynote sessions, Professor Han Yan, Vice Chairman of the Group and Doctoral Supervisor at Zhejiang University, delivered closing remarks and engaged in interactive Q&A with on-site enterprise representatives.

Several participants, including Zhang Zijian from Gaokai Electronics who traveled all the way from Changzhou, exchanged views with speakers on practical difficulties and compliance dilemmas in daily employment management, combining the actual operational conditions of their respective companies.
